VBS CAMPER QUESTION?
SCROLL DOWN FOR YOUR ANSWER
WHAT WILL MY CHILD BE EATING AT VBS?
Each day, children will need to bring a lunch from home to VBS. Along with their home-packed lunch, campers will enjoy a mid-morning snack each day. If your camper has food allergies that were not listed on their registration form, please email us email@example.com.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
Please have your child wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes each day to VBS. (Don't wear flip-flops or Heely's, please.) On the Friday before VBS, children will pick up their VBS t-shirt at our VBS Pre-Party. If your family was unable to attend our Pre-Party, your camper will receive their shirt on Monday morning of VBS. Each day children will be given a name tag when they check in with their Group Leader. Your child should wear their VBS t-shirt each day.
WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO PARK?
Please enter the parking lot on Foothill Blvd. and travel by bridge to the lot on San Dimas Ave. Then, travel over the wooden bridge to the check in stations in front of the worship center.
WHERE DO I PICK UP AND DROP OFF?
Check-in opens at 8:45am each day. An adult must walk your child to their group and check in and check out your child each day. Kids cannot check in or check out by themselves. (Their group number will be printed on their name tag.) VBS ends each day at 1:00pm.
EARLY PICK-UP OR CHECK OUT?
For the safety and protection of all children attending VBS, we ask that you do not pick up your child early from VBS. If there is a special circumstance or situation that your child does need to leave VBS early, you must pick them up before 11:30am. For the safety of your child, he or she cannot leave their group on their own and you must walk to their location and check them out with their Guide. Parents must go to the Information Center, located on the patio outside the Worship Center, and you will be directed to the location of your child’s group.
WHAT HAPPENS ON WATER DAY?
(SHHH we are keeping this is a surprise!) We are having water day on Friday, July 27th! All campers should wear a swimsuit under their clothes, wear sunscreen and bring a towel. Your child will get completely wet as they enjoy sliding down inflatable water slides. If you have questions about water day, please email us firstname.lastname@example.org.
WHAT IF MY CHILD HAS AN INJURY?
Occasionally children get injured or sick while at VBS. We have a medical team on campus during VBS. We will contact the emergency contact number you wrote on your child's registration form should we need to contact you.
CAN PARENTS WATCH THE CLOSING CELEBRATION?
We're sorry, but our worship center will be full of kids and volunteers, which does not allow for parent seating. However, we'll be broadcasting some of our worship experiences on our Facebook page here: facebook.com/reallifela
