VBS at Real Life | LA will definitely be a highlight of summer 2025!

This event is open to kids who are entering Kindergarten through 5th grade (grades during the 2025-2026 academic year). Your kids, grandkids, and neighbors will not want to miss the incredible week we have planned!

Real Life's VBS runs July 14-18 from 9:30am until 1:30pm daily and takes place at our Glendora Campus:
804 E Foothill Blvd Glendora, CA 91741

  • We will be following safe food handling practices for snack and lunch each day. We do have allergy safe and gluten free options available, please make sure to indicate these needs on your child(ren)'s registration. Snack is provided, all campers and leaders bring their lunch daily.

  • Please have your child wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes each day to VBS. (Don't wear flip-flops or Heely's, please.) Each day children will be given their name tag when they check in with their Group Leader. After receiving their camp shirt, your child should wear their VBS t-shirt each day.

  • We do our absolute best to accommodate the friend requests you indicate on your camper registration form. We try to keep kids together as long as they are in the same grade or one year apart.

  • Each day, campers will have assigned pick-up and drop-off locations. Kids cannot check-in or check out by themselves.

Check-out for Elementary-aged children will take place at 1:30pm from 1 of 3 pick-up zones on the church campus. Your elementary child(ren)'s classroom/check-out zone will be given to you during check-in on the first day of camp.

Check-out for Kindergarten will take place from Room 5 located next to the west children's play yardm in Zone 1.

  • For the safety and protection of all children attending VBS, we ask that you do not pick up your child early from VBS. If there is a special circumstance or situation that your child does need to leave VBS early, you must notify the church 30 minutes prior to pick-up (please call the church office 626.914.1971). For the safety of your child, he or she cannot leave their group on their own and you must walk to their location and check them out with their Guide. Parents must go to the Information Center located in the church office to the left of the Chapel and you will be directed to the location of your child’s group.

  • Water Days at VBS this year are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Campers will need to show up wearing their swimsuit, towel, and wear sunscreen on water days.

  • Occasionally children get injured or sick while at VBS. We have a medical team on campus during VBS. We will contact the emergency contact number you wrote on your child's registration form should we need to contact you.

  • We're sorry, but our campus will be full of kids and volunteers, which does not allow for parent seating. However, we'll be recapping some of our experiences during the week on our Instagram page here: instagram.com/rllakids

HOW DOES DROP-OFF WORK?

SEE THE MAP BELOW FOR DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO ENTER AND EXIT OUR LOT

VBS will begin check-in at 9:15am each day. You will drive into the lot and drop off your campers "drive-thru" style. Our team will direct you so that we can keep everyone safe. Drop-off for the first few days can take a couple of extra minutes as everyone learns a new routine - we are thankful you get to be in an air-conditioned vehicle for drop-off.

Each morning you will enter the Real Life Glendora parking lot from the SOUTH. We are asking families to travel from the south so that we don't cause traffic delays on Foothill Blvd. Due to safety and traffic concerns, you will need to turn right into the lot traveling north on Glenwood Ave. We are asking that you only exit to the right out of the north exit.

Cars enter from Glenwood, driving north. Southbound traffic will not be permitted to turn left into the church parking lot.

Color Groups will be picked up from the same Check Out Zone each day of VBS.
